Next up: we have Dr. Flávia Rezende, from the Goethe University Frankfurt where she is a group leader at the Department of Cardiovascular Physiology. Her research focuses on redox control of metabolism with the goal of finding novel metabolites and metabolic pathways that regulate cardiovascular function. Her talk entitled "Using untargeted metabolomics to explore the metabolic cues of endothelial cells" will demonstrate how downstream work can benefit from initially not using FBS.
