LSECs play essential roles in liver disease and in liver regeneration. They represent the interface between blood cells on the one side and hepatocytes and hepatic stellate cells on the other side.

LSECs can be used in biomedical field in assays of cell-cell adhesion, migration, vascular tube formation or Transepithelial-Transendothelial Electrical Resistance  (TEER).  The standard biochemical procedures performed with endothelial cell cultures include RT-PCR, western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence staining, immunofluorescent flow cytometry, or generation of cell derivatives for desired research application.

What do we offer for your research projects?

We offer these cells from different donors at early passage numbers to give you a situation as close to in vivo as possible. If you have specific requirements you are invited to discuss these special medium conditions with our expert Dr. Lothar Steeb and team for your optimal experimental setup.

Plus have a look at our complete set of liver cells and relevant 3D tools.
