New Technique to Derive Naive Pluripotent Stem Cells from Human Embryos

Researchers from the University of Cambridge have come up with a technique using which naive pluripotent stem cells from human embryos can be derived. These cells are having amazing feature that they can develop into all human tissue other than placenta.

The promising technique could open new gateways for research into disorders like Down’s syndrome. The researchers are quite hopeful that the development could lead to advances in regenerative medicine.
